I remember learning about a clause (it could be in the Constitution) that in United States Law all court cases must have actually happened, and the parties (defendant and prosecutor) must be directly connected. Does anyone know where it can be found? Does it apply to criminal law or civil law or both?

I need to write a case brief for a class & I dont know of any major prison court cases. There are a few in our book, but we cant write our briefs on them. I tryed searching Yahoo & found nothing. Anyone know where I can find prison cases?

What are two examples of Supreme Court Cases ( include dates and title of the court cases) that you believe the decisions handed down were not in agreeance with the truths of the Bible?

I’m preparing to call Verizon Customer Support in an attempt to use the material adverse clause of the customer agreement to get out of our contract without an early termination fee. Since people have done this before, and have probably taken it to court as well, I’d like to find past court cases dealing with this for use when I’m talking to Customer Support. Is there some sort of archive for this?

I need to write a 5-page paper about an interesting court case (criminal). Where would I find a comprehensive list of cases? I’ve looked all over and haven’t had much luck. All I can find are very famous Supreme Court cases, which is not really what I’m going for.

I know that there are many cases that discuss what students can wear or write in a school newspaper, but are there any that discuss the first amendment rights of a student outside of school. Specifically i am thinking of something like malicious comments about a teacher posted on the internet by a student.
