I remember learning about a clause (it could be in the Constitution) that in United States Law all court cases must have actually happened, and the parties (defendant and prosecutor) must be directly connected. Does anyone know where it can be found? Does it apply to criminal law or civil law or both?

I need to write a case brief for a class & I dont know of any major prison court cases. There are a few in our book, but we cant write our briefs on them. I tryed searching Yahoo & found nothing. Anyone know where I can find prison cases?

What are two examples of Supreme Court Cases ( include dates and title of the court cases) that you believe the decisions handed down were not in agreeance with the truths of the Bible?
