Hello everyone!

I am working on a presentation on the 12th amendment for my government class.

Part of the project asks me to present two court cases that this amendment affected. I know one of the cases is the Ray v. Blair case of 1952, yet I am having a hard time finding a second case.

Can someone please tell me of another case affected by this amendment and how the amendment played a role in it?

I am writing a research paper regarding individuals with intellectual disabilities and I am having trouble finding court cases to reference. I need cases of non-institutionalized individuals that have had any type of encounter with the police from either victimization, or committing a crime; cases involving the police and the individuals, not a case regarding a death penalty decision. . The cases have to be from the U.S. – Extra points if they are from Washington State.

I need to defend my opinion that students should still get freedom of speech in public schools, by using cases where the supreme court ruled in favor of the person that was arguing for freedom of speech (is that phrased right?)
